About Me

Hello and thanks for visiting!

I grew up in a home that always had music in the background; my mother singing along with the Mills Brothers or my father playing the soundtrack to My Fair Lady. I received my first kiss on stage at the end of the dream ballet in my high school’s production of ‘Oklahoma!’. Thanks Curly!

So a career in the performing arts is no surprise, but some of the other interests I’ve pursued were more unexpected.  In addition to teaching almost every genre of dance to every age, I’ve taught yoga, creative drama, worked as a personal image consultant and developed The Boomer Burn fitness program.  I got coaching on how to do comedy while in a play directed by David Schwimmer and played the Queen in Cymbeline, wielding a pair of rusty gardening shears!

I’ve lead workshops in opioid risk reduction and community leadership skills, as well as volunteering in my church as lay reader and Vestry member.

Having three wonderful children and two adorable granddaughters keeps me on my toes and loving life!

Here’s to new adventures,

Susan
